Unlike many “locals”, I live year ’round here in Haines, Alaska. I’ve been flying and exploring Glacier Bay and the surrounding area for over 15 years now. I have climbed and skied many peaks in and around Glacier Bay. I’ve explored glaciers, old growth forests, and beaches on foot — all via my planes. No other pilot in the area can make that claim, period! The locals in Haines that fly year ‘round with me expect the best, we’ve scrutinized these mountains for the goods, and I imagine you want the same.
Tiaya is 10 now, and living one heck of a life. This girl is on fire!
For you, that means a unique perspective on this huge and wild place. I own and operate two aircraft: both professionally maintained Cessnas, they have clean windows and nice headsets for all, with capacity of up to 5 passengers. These are incredibly dependable aircraft, and they have played a major roll in the history of Alaskan aviation.
